       Phone call with Surveyor within 48 hours of inspection          Written report within 5 days of inspection

LEVEL 2 RICS HOME SURVEY

A mid-level assessment, also known as a  Home Buyers Report.

 

Provides a basic overview of a property's condition.

Highlights major issues affecting the property's value and any urgent repairs needed. 

Suitable for conventional properties, built after the year 1900 and in reasonable condition without having undergone significant renovations.

 

Optional extras include a

valuation.

 

LEVEL 3 RICS HOME SURVEY

A comprehensive inspection, also known as a Building Survey. 

 

Provides a detailed assessment of a property's condition.

Identifies both major and minor defects, offering advice on necessary repairs and maintenance.

Recommended for older properties, those in poor condition, or those that have undergone significant renovations.

 

Optional extras include an estimated cost of

repairs and valuation.

 

RICS VALUATION REPORT

 An assessment of the value of a property.

 

Takes into account the location, condition and market trends.

 

Often carried out for a number of reasons, including for probate, help-to-buy, shared ownership.

 

Carried out by a RICS Registered Valuer.
